Our Mission
History
The Mystic Wellington Yacht Club is located on the banks of the Mystic River in historic Medford Massachusetts. Since its inception in 1971, the Mystic Wellington Yacht Club has made a dedicated effort to serve the Medford Community. The membership continually works to promote safe public access to the DCR boat ramp, support civic projects and educate and protect all aspects of the Mystic River environment.
Autism Awareness Weekend
11 Annual - July 29 & 30, 2023
The Autism Awareness Fundraising Weekend Event will commence on July 29th, 2023 with the Salt Water Striped Bass Tournament, which will begin at midnight. Following that, at 7 am until 3 pm, the Freshwater Fishing Tournament, sanctioned by Mass Bass Nation (MBN), will take place. On July 30th, the focus will be on family fun, offering a variety of activities such as free kids boat rides, fishing with provided fishing rods and worms, music, games, and prizes. A BBQ lunch will be available, along with a bouncy hut, water slide, raffle, and numerous prizes. Additionally, there will be a firetruck present to add to the excitement of the day. All proceeds from these events are donated to support local special education schools with focus on Autism.
Classic & Muscle Car Show
3rd Annual - Sept. 16th, 2023
The End of Summer Celebration kicks off with the 3rd annual Classic & Muscle Car show, followed by Complementary refreshments, and will end with the annual Spectacular Fireworks at Assembly Row around 8:30 pm.
